Friday Guest – Bow to the Queen...
“Hello Romeo,
You are quite skilled……I must admit that to you right now. But I am also quite talented. Let me tell you my story.
I am a gorgeous 4 year old Siamese mix named LuLu (also known as Lucy, Doo Doo Butt (for obvious reason) and Nom Nom). My people here rescued me from a home where I was very unhappy. I have been here for 3 years now and let me just say, I am the queen of this house. I have the people here so trained! At 9pm exactly every night the electric blanket is warmed up on my peasant’s bed because they know I do not care to be chilled. I have beds perched in every single sunny spot of my house. I have my own chair and no one dares to sit in it. If they do, all I have to do is sit down in front of MY chair and laser eye them. They think it is funny, but the joke is on them. I get the warm spot….But I digress…….Breakfast!
I do love my morning meal. I allow my peasant to sleep with me at night, you know, for extra warmth. She does not need an alarm clock because I am the alarm clock. The blinds may be shut but I KNOW when it is time to get up. I crawl up from warm spot on the bed and slowly creep onto my peasant, usually laying on her back while I purr VERY loud. I give that 15 seconds. If that isn’t making her move, I creep up closer into her neck and rub my gorgeous face against her while purring even louder. If that still isn’t working, I start the “kneading bread” trick on her back but she seems to like that a little too much so I go back to laying against her neck but this time, I drool! There is nothing like wet cat breath! Wow, she moves fast when I do that!
I race her down the stairs and I stare at her the entire time while she prepares my meal. She once tried to serve it to me cold. Silly woman! She saw me gag at that ONCE and got the point that my meal needs to be warmed up. At least she is a quick learner. A warm meal in my belly, a warm spot in the sun and a few milk bottle rings is absolute heaven to me.
Now if I can just get my peasant to stop dressing me up !!!!!!
Queen Lulu”
Well, your highness, you are quite the strategist. No wonder you’re queen! You and I have many similar preferences. Perhaps we meet for tea sometime to discuss in further depth?
