Way to go, Iams! I am sure you have all heard about the Iams’ Home 4 the Holidays adoption event, which is a season-long effort by Iams and spokesperson Hilary Swank to help shelters and rescues adopt out more pets during the holidays. They are working with participating organizations across the U.S. to promote adoption. In fact, I even caught my staff online searching for “male persian cats near charlotte, nc.” Ummmmm….not sure what this means or how I feel about it. She told me, “Oh, HUSH. I’m just looking.” Hmmm.

Anyway, as of today, 808,147 pets have found forever homes through Iams Home 4 the Holidays shelters and rescue groups. AMAZING. Just AMAZING.

If you are thinking about adopting or know someone who is thinking about adopting, now is the time! Do it! TODAY! Visit the Home for the Holidays site and search for furbabies near you who need homes.

I had the good fortune of meeting Hilary Swank via Skype not

	<img src="http://www.romeothecat.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/Hilary-and-cat-208x300.jpg" alt="Hil likes cats!
long ago. She said I was handsome! She is a true advocate for animals and has done an amazing job of promoting the cause. And she rescued her own woofers!

In addition to the Home for the Holidays adoption drive, Iams has announced two new contests that help shelters get free food all year long!

FEED PETS IN NEED
You can help your favorite Iams Home 4 the Holidays shelter or rescue win free food! Each month, for the next 13 months, the shelter with the most votes gets a month’s supply of free food!
