Wednesday’s Wake Up Tactic...

Today’s wake up process was very disjointed.

First I heard the Crawling/Walking Creature yelling in her room. I thought, HOORAY, we’re up and Romeo won’t get blamed! But no one got up. I meowed at female staff member but she did not get up. I meowed at male staff member for a while and finally he heaved himself out of bed and I followed him to BREAKFAST.

But it wasn’t breakfast for me. It was breakfast for that Creature. So I went back to meow at female staff member because, after all, she’s the manager and can get things done. She ignored me.

So, I just sat down on the pillow to wait. FINALLY male staff member whistled and it was Pugs and my turn for BREAKFAST. Female staff said something about turning on the coffee. I ignored her.

Friday wake up tactic – Special Guest Star...

I am featuring a special guest here today. She happens to be the MASTER of wake up tactics. In fact, she wakes up everyone in the house.

The staff was in Chicago this weekend for some BlogHer conference and stayed with male staff member’s brother and wife. They also have a Crawling Creature. However, this is redeemed by the fact they have two cats running the household. Here is the lead cat, my cousin Troy. My other cousin is Eliza but she runs when anyone (except Troy) even looks in her direction so we got no photos of her.

Top 10 Hiding Places...

In honor of Friday, we let the staff sleep and got up early to compile a list of our favorite hiding places.

1. Inside bookshelf
2. Under Crawling Creature’s crib
3. In plain sight on black chair (Pugsley only; I stand out on the black chair. Staff not that dense.)
4. On top of bookshelf
5. In bathtub (sans water)
6. Behind washer and dryer
7. In laundry basket (preferably on top of clean laundry)
8. Under big bed
9. Behind bookshelf
10. Inside carelessly-left-ajar cabinets

Who can resist an open cupboard?
