This morning was a very confusing morning for a hungry cat.
Around 6 a.m. I hopped up onto the bed to see what female staff was doing and…no female staff! Wha?
Male staff was there, slumbering peacefully. But we all know he’s my last resort. So I went off in search of the boss lady. She was in the house when we all went to bed last night….I figured she couldn’t have gone far without me knowing about it.
I peeked into the Big-Running-Yelling-Jumping-iPad-Watching-Coloring-Backtalking Creature’s room and sure enough, there was the female staff! Laying on her back, sound asleep, with the Big Creature wrapped around her.
But, wait! There was someone else there too…..
PUGSLEY.
Pugsley was sleeping on her head.
That’s where I sleep! Granted, I would not get into the BC’s bed unless it was a true emergency but Pugsley can’t get enough of the BC and hangs out in her room all the time. Weirdo.
So….
The BC’s bed is low to the ground so, without putting myself in any sort of compromising position, I stood up on my hind legs, put my paws on the pillow, leaned into the staff’s ear and….
Meow? Meow? Meow. Meow.
Then, Pug woke up. He yawned and, ever my wing man, started meowing as well.
White Meow. Black Meow. White Meow. Black Meow. White Meow. Black Meow.
BC woke up first….”Mommy!” “MOOOOOOOOOOMY! The boys are here!”
Poor staff, I almost felt sorry for her. Two cats and a BC, all in her face, trying to rouse her.
She opened her eyes, let out an enormous sigh and said, “Fine. I’m up.”
And….BREAKFAST was served! YEEEEHAW!

Cute story, getting a little help from cat friends. Most dogs and cats can learn a thing or two from this little wake up trick for an early breakfast, right? Good job, Romeo!
Wow! Very good technique. Thanks for the tip =^.^=

Nice one, Romeo! The female staff was defenseless against the three-pronged wake up attack! MOL!
I can just picture it!
Good one Romeo. You had a little help getting the woman up anyway. Too cute. I have said that many a morning with seven or eight cats circling on my bed. Have a good one.
I gotta say – being woken up like that doesn’t sound so bad. Cats are so nice – dogs are a little more, um, insistent on waking up the staff!
