Furry Friends Friday: Benji and Mandy

Each week, we feature a new multi-pet household and today, we’re featuring Mandy and Benji! M & D’s staff, Rachel, writes:

Benji Hartley is a senior Shih Tzu, and Mandy (Her full name is Amanda Chanel Hartley) is a Maltese/Yorkie/Poodle mix puppy.

Mandy!

Mandy is ADHD and has four boyfriends (Andy, Ziggy, Woody and Herbie). She loves her toy “Squidoo,” playing tug of war, bones, long walks, going to the groomer, loves to make friends and views almost everyone as her friend. Mandy’s a diva.

Before Mandy, Benji used to be a diva when he was young and we had JayJay (who died of old age).

Both dogs like sleeping, food, and family.

Rachel Lynn H. June 12, 2012 at: Hi! Yep, Benji and Mandy are my dogs! Thanks The Island Cats, Glogirly and Katie for the compliments! I used to have a Pit Bull named Lucy when I was 12, but we had to give her away to the pound, which found her a nice farm to live in. We had to give her up since she was being mean to JayJay. JayJay was our family Lhasa Apso, also a cutie. Not all Pit Bulls are mean like my dog Lucy was, just some. That’s why I don’t like the media portraying all and/or most Pit Bulls as bad, because they are not.
