Thankful.

November 23, 2011

This is the life.

1. My choice of any number of warm spots to sleep on. Sometimes even heating pads.

2. Scritches.

3. Belly rubs.

4. Butt scratches.

5. Chin scratches.

6. Matt-free coat and regular brushings so the knots don’t hurt me.

7. A trip to the vet any time I have a sniffle so I don’t ever get really sick.

8. No fleas.

9. Soft floors to walk on.

10. Four delicious, nutritious meals a day. Yes, four. Albeit small meals that are never served on time; there are still four.

11. Anything I want to make into a toy.

12. My snuggly brother Pugsley.

13. The wonderful feeling of safety and security.

14. This blog.

15. YOU.

These are the things I am thankful for. Let me say again, I am INCREDIBLY thankful for you, my sweet readers. Together we’ve raised nearly $60,000 for pets who don’t have all of the wonderful things above that I (admittedly) take for granted.

Thank you for continuing to read and support RomeotheCat.com!

What are you thankful for?

Dry food. Wet food. Tuna treats. Watching my partners in crime Romeo & THE Pugs Man. My special rays of sunshine on the living room floor. My “cousin” Teddy who was before me. The mama and the papa that provide and saved me. Hmm….I cost lots of money don’t I in lap time, who could forget that???? Well, darn right I should be thankful, shouldn’t I?

Happy Holidays Everyone! Love the pets! Save a shelter animal! Adopt!

Mirp,

Nicky

I’m thankful for YOU and Pugsley, as well as my own kitties – those gone and those who remain. My sweet Brianne. My Emma baby. Our new Persian senior, Bailey, who also appreciates those things you do, as she’s recently experienced the life of a stray, in the cold, without food and shelter. I also thank whoever’s in charge of this world for bringing me my little feathered friends, Finn, Keats, and Raphael. We have a houseful, and we love it :)

Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday, Romeo!
