A Nu Kind of Litterbox Output

Sharing our private biz for your benefit

This may seem like an out of character post because I don’t usually share my personal biznatch on this blog. But since I think it may be of interest to many of you, I am going to.

Pugsley and I each have our own gastrointestinal issues that the staff keeps a close watch on. I often get, shall we say, stopped up, which at times has required vet intervention which I will not discuss, thankyouverymuch. But I do need a dose of meds once in a while to get things moving along. My man, Pugsley, on the other hand, has the very opposite problem. This makes for a very interesting litterbox.

Since joining the Nu Campaign to Fight Pet Obesity, neither Pugsley nor I have had any problems with our respective issues. As you know, Nulo is a new food on the market that is all natural and super-charged with nutrients. It’s not a diet food (Pugs and I are at our perfect weights already!) but is very effective for pets who do need to lose a few pounds. Also, FULL DISCLOSURE, our staff writes for the Nulo blog. This is why I haven’t been writing a lot about Nulo here for obvious reasons. But this is an important issue you guys should know about if anyone in your house has GI issues themselves.

Since being on this nutritious, perfectly balanced food, the litterbox output now is so terrific, my staff says, that she doesn’t even mind scooping each day because she’s so proud of us (CRAAAAAZEEE lady). But she usually worries so I guess I understand it. What’s more, when she reported to Mike Landa, the Nulo CEO, how happy she was that Pugsley and I were delivering perfectly formed you-know-what’s, he replied, “I love it! You made my day!”

Do these humans have nothing better to do than get excited about our poop? Guess not.

Hey there Romeo! Tripsie here! I have a question. My brother, Kitty has similar issues to Pugsley. Icky stinky productions!
The problem is, he’s already underweight. While this new food might help his tummy troubles, would it make him weigh even less?

PS I’m not fat, I’m fluffy. I don’t care how much my fort wiggles when I hop on it http://www.flickr.com/photos/jadielady/4981091182/

Mum tried the pumpkin with us- we didn’t mind it in our foods, and it seemed to help Zowie, who was having a problem like Pugsley. (Also Pandora has a slight issue in that regard, and it seemed to help her too.)

We wish that Nulo shipped to Canada, because mum would sure try some!

Interesting. I have the same problem as you sometimes with the “nothing happening” part because of all of the floof, but I’ve been so much better since eating the Royal Canin Persian. We’ll check into the Nulo food.

Pee ess – Mom tried the pumpkin with me and I turned up my nose at it and walked away.

Fwiw, canned pumpkin could be helpful for both of you. The fiber in it can help Pugsley, by absorbing some of that excess moisture. And for you, the pumpkin would act like a stool softener.

I know, it’s weird that one food can help with both, but give it a try!

Just be sure it’s the plain canned pumpkin, not the pie filling. Or check at your local independent holistic pet store, for pumpkin supplements.
