Wake up Wednesday

Missing the GPs. BIG TIME.

Missing the GPs. BIG TIME.

SO SORRY guys that I have not posted. For good reason, however. The Grandparents were visiting for the last couple of days and you know what that means?

BREAKFAST AT 6 AM WITH GRANDPA JOE.

In other words, no wake up tactics needed! Grandpa Joe is a very early riser. Either he has not built up immunity to our cute, hungry meowing faces OR he doesn’t care about staff rules and uses his God-given Grandparent right to give the grandkids (erm, grandcats) whatever they want, whenever they want it.

Am guessing it was little bit of both.

Alas, the grandparents left yesterday so I was back on duty today, making sure lazy staff was up and at ‘em. Did typical MEOWMEOWMEOWMEOW then got face thisclose to female staff’s face and MEOOOOOOOOOOWED. Then yawned just as she opened her eyes. Hilarious to see the look on her face.

Ha ha! BREAKFAST was served. Not as early as with Grandpa Joe but served nonetheless. HOORAY.

Wow, eating at 6AM sharp? It must have been really nice to have your Grandpa there! :)

Good wake up technique you used on the female staff person. MOL

What a neat way to wake up your staff! Sorry your grandcat spoilers are gone. You’ll have to work harder to train your mom .

Oh that is cool that you got early breakfast from your Grandpa! Too bad your staff didn’t learn from him how great it is to have early breakfast!

We would like your Grandpa…we let our humans sleep in until at least 5AM every single day!

Trying to be as creative as you with wakeup tactics, I tried one out yesterday morning. I sat next to Mom and meowed and meowed and meowed. Nothing. Then I went to Dad’s side of the bed and meowed and meowed and meowed. He rolled over to Mom and said “Will you feed your kid?”. Instantly, Mom was up and brekkie on its way!

Hee hee, glad Nala got lots of limelight. She deserves it!

SP, that is HILARIOUS. Silly staff.

Let me assure you that having Nala’s post be up for so long didn’t do much to help her ego issue :p

Grandparent beans are wonderful when it comes to getting treats and food. Would you believe my mom walked in on me and my grandma bean this weekend and told her that I had enough treats?
