Too many stars fall short in this area and go out and get a cute new pure bred puppy, thus influencing countless fans to go out and do the same, thus perpetuating the puppy mill problem. Honestly, my opinion of celebrities who do this goes down substantially. And I can say that because it’s MY blog. So there.

But, here’s a great example of someone who gets it. Jillian Michaels, the butt-kicking trainer from The Biggest Loser, also kicks butt in another way. She has two rescue dogs AND a rescue horse! Go Jillian!

Yay, we LOVE Jillian too! Cute puppies in pet stores is a bad thing! And because of a certain celebrity…. chihuahuas are now carried around everywhere. It makes us growl… THANK YOU Jillian for being a good example, and THANK YOU Romeo for addressing the problem. Woof Woof
Jillian really is a good person. I always liked her too and now like her even more. That is so true, if more celebrities would rescue animals, it would sure start a trend.
