Thanks to everyone who entered the “If Pets Had New Years Resolutions” contest, sponsored by MOI, Wellness Natural Food for Pets and Peoplepets.com!
WOW do you pets have some great resolutions. We received oodles and oodles of terrific entries so it was very hard to choose. But we narrowed the winners down to five and each day this week we will be featuring one of the winners here, at Peoplepets.com and on the Wellness Facebook Fan Page. Pugsley and I are very inspired by all of these pledges.
Each lucky winner wins $300 cash, plus a generous food donation to the animal shelter or rescue of their choice, courtesy of the wonderful, pet-loving people at Wellness. The winner also receives a dog or cat gift basket with lots of treats for the winner!
Today’s winner is Bailey Bear (or B-Bear for short), a two-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who lives with his owner, Karen Hom, in San Francisco, California.
Bailey’s resolution is:
I resolve to ditch attempts to practice my surgeon skills on animals – the stuffed ones. I remember a long time ago when I destroyed my first stuffed animal and how fun it was *drools*. I’ve always wanted to be a surgeon and this was my only chance at it.
Bailey and Karen have designated Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek, CA to receive the cash and noms from Wellness. Congratulations, Bailey! You must keep us updated on your progress.

Does that make Bailey an Oral Surgeon? MOL!!
Congratulations to the winner!!
