Well, it’s not really my fault that someone left a crunchy, fun plastic bag on the floor. These guys KNOW plastic bags are my weakness. So when I saw it next to the bed, I had to play with it. You understand. And you also know how loud plastic bags can be.
Which the staff was reminded of this morning. They were not pleased.
But BREAKFAST was still served!

You must be careful of the plastic bags around the neck…as it is a great noise maker it can get twisted around the neck and cause choking..my staff cuts the handles just to be safe, due to this happening one morning the bag handle twisted enough it was choking me while playing with it. YiKeS!! Staff always lets me play with plastic nags but they always have those dangerous handles cut now..twine handles are the worst when it comes to danger. Careful playing, and be safe Romeo and Pugs!!
I love to chew and lick plastic and it drives my mom crazy because she has to get out of the bed to move the plastic away from me.
The best way to get them up is to put the handle of the bag around your neck and walk back and forth thru the house.
The staff wakes up and thinks an intruder is in the house due to the strange noise they are hearing. This is a sure fire way to get them up to investigate.
I have to credit this to my sister Gunnie, she just did this about a week ago.
Gunnie and Romeo, great feline minds think alike!
I am sure they must have left it there on purpose for you – plastic bags are an automatic draw for kitties. They must have needed you to wake them up and known that this was a way for you to do it easily.
Plastic bags is a very favourite wake up tactic of mine. Today I went one step further & found the Xmas present sack under the bed. Enormous fun with bag & crinkly wrapping paper meant a very fast wake up for staff.
he he – plastic bags are the greatest. I’ve never used as a wakeup tactic tho – good choice.
