December FURPOWER: Catering to Cats and Dogs

I am sooo happy to announce our December FURPOWER recipient, Catering to Cats and Dogs, of Cornelius, NC. This one is particularly special to me because it’s right here in my backyard. My petsitter, Fetsje of Tenderpaws Petsitting, nominated these guys and before you go thinking they had an unfair advantage, they did not! They worked their paws off and got hundreds of people to write in and nominate them! Many people wrote in to tell us about the wonderful pets that Donna (who runs the rescue) had helped them find. It was amazing. So they truly earned it fair and square.

Catering to Cats and Dogs is a feline and canine nurture center concerned for the well being and health of homeless cats, kittens, dogs and puppies in need of food, shelter and love. CTC&D takes abandoned and surrendered animals, places them into foster homes, ensures they have proper medical care, and adopts them out to permanent, loving homes. They also make sure all of the pets in their care are spayed and neutered, which as you guys know is super duper important.

This is the first time that my staff will actually get to meet the wonderful people at one of the rescues FURPOWER supports. It will be very exciting and we’ll be sure to share photos!
