The Emergency Animal Rescue Service in Birmingham, Alabama is our August FURPOWER beneficiary.
TEARS is a not-for-profit Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals dedicated to the rescue of injured animals, the investigation of cruelty and the prosecution thereof. TEARS is one of the few organizations in Central Alabama operating on a 24 hour a day, seven day a week basis. They are also one of the only organizations which extends help to ALL animals, including wildlife, reptiles and livestock and specializing in horses. And they function throughout the state of Alabama.
TEARS does amazing work, rescuing many animals, both domesticated and wild, from abuse and cruelty.
These guys really worked off their little furry behinds to get their supporters to submit them. Pugs and I are so excited to be able to help cats and dogs and birds and even cows and reptiles through TEARS. We know you are too!
