Napping is an incredibly important part of my job so obviously location plays a big role in the success of each snooze. I thought I would share some of my favorite locales with you and hope that you will give me some new ideas.
ROMEO’S FAVORITE NAP LOCATIONS:
1. Pack ‘n Play – only when Crawling Creature is not in it.
2. On top of stacks of paper – only when female staff member is using them.
3. Randomly in the middle of the hallway.
4. On floor, halfway in bathroom, halfway in bedroom.
5. Baby Bouncy Seat -only when Crawling Creature is not in it.
6. Bed (boring, I know, but effective).
7. Counter or kitchen table (staff does not like either of these locations and am often asked to move, actually am usually physically removed. Grr.)
8. On top of computer keyboard. But only when it’s in use.
9. On changing table – only when Crawling Creature is not on it.
10. Curled up on staff’s head, chest or arm – but only when THEY are napping.

My boy Tito loves to sleep in the dogs’ kennel, whether or not they are in it. He also enjoys sprawling out on the balcony in the sun, in the middle of the dining room floor, or in his converted carrier that is cleverly tucked under the canary cage (which he doesn’t tive two hoots about). For visual impact, he loooooves to lie regally on my bed after its be freshly made- he knows how handsome he is!
Mommy’s lap until her legs fall asleep.
hee! you look so cute and sleepy.
how about on top of the bookshelves or refrigerator? my felines love to sleep up high.
Hello dear Romeo! We support your effort with the Space Kitties and hope that they get rescued fixed and released to stand watch over the goings on with the space ships. Hope they do not try to stow away on board and get blasted into space….imagine the mess at litter box time!!!
Hunny Bunny loves her Furminator she won from you! Oh and we spread the word and friends have gone to the site to watch the video clips and bought one too! YEAH!
Madi and I love to collapse on the floor too! Preferably just as a Hooman is walking by so we take advantage of the attention opportunity.
*nosetaps*
Madi and Abi
And what about the sink? Also – the dog crate (dog not in crate at time) – that is nice too.
I’m dark grey so I like to sleep on the stairs when the male staff member is descending. He will rue the day that he banned me from the bedroom at night. For the record, I do NOT snore!
We think those are all great place to nap, Romeo!
I particularly favor Mom’s red Chucks, especially after she’s taken them off. I also like the bathroom mat and any towel, especially if she doesn’t know I’ve slept on it and uses it to dry off later… *shifty eyes*
Romeo & Pugsley,
Do you have a window perch to nap on?
I’ve seen pics of you at the window, so I thought napping on a window sill or perch might be good for you, if you don’t nap there already. When the sun is out our cat cabal nap there. Off the floor & a good view when you wake up.
Cheers,
Hoover
These are priceless tips. Mobley would approve. Woof.
We personally prefer the bed before our mom has a chance to make it. That way we can make her feel bad for kicking us out!
Our humans did solve the problem of us sleeping on the mousepad by setting up a sleeping spot on a shelf right next to the computer. We still like to stand between them and the monitor though.
